Comic Book Boycott of the Day: Conservative group One Million Moms is at it again, directing its not-quite-a-million members to boycott Marvel and DC Comics due to recent announcements from both companies about their futures of their gay characters.
DC has revealed that a major character is soon going to come out as gay, while Marvel announced the engagement of superhero Northstar to his boyfriend, Kyle.
These events don’t sit will with One Million Moms, whose anti-gay agenda has also led them to protest the wedding of Archie Comics’ first gay character, Kevin Keller.
“Children desire to be just like superheroes,” said the group in a statement. “Children mimic superhero actions and even dress up in costumes to resemble these characters as much as possible. Can you imagine little boys saying, ‘I want a boyfriend or husband like X-Men?’”
The statement goes on to accuse the publishers of trying to “indoctrate [sic] impressionable young minds.”
Marvel and DC have yet to respond to the homophobic comments.

Anyone come across this mini quest thing? (I’m sure it’s one of the randomly generated ones) You basically save a farmer who”s house in under siege and once you’ve mashed all the demons he invites you back to his place so his wife could say “thank you’ upon entering you find this (see pictures). The farmer is messed an believes his wife is still alive… her head eventually falls off. This might be a slight spoiler but what makes this quest funny is the discourse between the farmer and your character.
I have. I even posted my picture of it. It’s probably my favorite random event. I die every time I hear the conversation.
This is a Thor sequel I would watch. (Taken with instagram)
I really want a group of friends that I can just message “Assemble” and then they show up at my house with popcorn and chocolate and we get drunk and watch movies and play The Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit and cry over Loki together.
I think I have a few friends I could do that with
I’m certain the wolfpack would do this.
We’re sorry. The “Assemble” call is unavailable at this time. Everyone is playing Diablo 3. Please try again later. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
I use this mouse and the steel series D3 mousepad. Love em both. Worked brilliantly in the beta so Live client should be spectacular.

Just finished Portal 2. Loved it. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Love Wheatley. Love the actor who played the voice for him. Also J.K. Simmons was hilarious as well as Cave Johnson. GLaDOS was nice as well. I played a new map I downloaded from the workshop. Was great. I can’t seem to find where the peer review single player quests are. I thought there would be some option. Maybe I have to go through co-op? I have no idea.
